Before BB&T Stadium, the Charlotte Knights were known as the team with no attendance because the stadium was located so far south of Charlotte that people were not willing to make the drive. Since the construction of this $54 million stadium, the Knights have substantially improved in attendance allowing an occupancy of up to 10,200 people.
